Esther Shih is the Vice President of HR for InMobi in North America. She is an accomplished strategic business leader specializing in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Business Operations with over 15 years of demonstrated success in creating alignment between business strategy and the corresponding talent infrastructure required to accelerate success.
Although she started her career in investment banking, Esther considers herself to a bit of a serial tech startup junkie. She feels privileged to have been an early member of several notable Silicon Valley success stories including Loudcloud/Opsware (building clouds back when everyone thought that clouds were merely fluffy things in the sky – IPO in 2001), and MongoDB (open source database platform - IPO in 2017) where she helped build the foundational HR and business operations infrastructure that accelerated the growth and enabled the early success of those organizations.
When she’s not busy developing talent and streamlining processes at InMobi, you’ll find Esther chauffeuring her kids all over town, waiting in line at Costco, tumbling ungracefully down the slopes in Tahoe during ski season or falling off her paddleboard – her latest Covid investment – as her kids literally paddle in circles around her. You may even catch her doing her best carpool karaoke impression while sitting in traffic.
Esther is thrilled to have the opportunity to help amplify InMobi’s deeply rooted culture of innovation and investing in and developing talent. She’s excited to focus on inclusivity and integrating diverse perspectives as she helps propel InMobi forward in this exciting next stage of exponential growth.
